If you’re flying with American Airlines one of these days, you would probably be pleased to know that you can purchase an alcoholic beverage in economy class on a domestic flight of over 250 miles again, after a two-year long period of the federal transportation mask mandate.
The airline is resuming their alcohol sales, including beer ($8), wine ($9) and liquor ($9), and the menu can be found here. Moreover, the company is moving towards reopening their food offerings as well, starting small with chips and nuts, towards a greater variety for the flights of over 1,500 miles.
American Airlines is among the last ones to bring back their alcoholic beverage menu on board short haul flights, a few months after the same was done by Southwest Airlines.
