According to the owners Andrea and Laura Mazzucato, IOMazzucato is a combination of their family name and an Italian word “io” mean “I”, a sort of self-centeredness, which never fails in the world of wine.

6 years ago, Andrea and his wife decided to get involved and introduce themselves to the world of wine with their own labels, with their production philosophy. They want to produce wines that are tied to the tradition of their land but with innovations, territorial but characterful, elegant but decisive wines, suitable for wine lovers and suitable for those who want to experience emotions with wine.

Young winery but tied to the territory, they produce 6 different wines with the same native grape, the VESPAIOLA, and then, in their hill s the Cabernet Sauvignon, and the wine that he loves the most, the Merlot, are the soft, elegant, structured, which hold up so well the years. In a nutshell, their small Doc Breganze area, so close to Venice and the Dolomites mountains, offers an excellent climate for classic high-level Italian wines.

Recently, IOMazzucato has joined the first session of America Wines Awards 2020 and won awards. Here’s the list of their wines that won an award:

Today, IOMazzucato has 2 importers in America, one in Illinois and one in Louisiana, but they buy little. It’s the main reason why they joined in America Wines Awards 2020 to get new importers that are looking for quality wines. They have started exporting 4 years ago, but not so much because they have dedicated a large part of their energies to the Italian market but this time, they will travel a lot to develop in the foreign market.

The difference with them from other competitors is that in Breganze, they are the youngest family of producers. Their grapes are grown with great care, they don’t use herbicides, low yields per hectare. They harvest grapes of excellent quality to make great wines.
