The History of Family Passion and The New Approach To The Wine Trade
The history of Vignobles Gabriel & Co started with that of a man and an estate: in 1904, Gabriel Bruneteau founded the “Domaine du Grand Moulin” at Saint Aubin de Blaye. Guided by his passionate interest in wine and people, he founded in 1921 his business, forerunner to Vignobles Gabriel & Co.
In 1985, Jean François Réaud, great-great-grandson of Gabriel Bruneteau inherited the Domaine with the ambition to develop a group of atypical wine-growers, working together in a congenial and collaborative way. This is the birth of Vignobles Gabriel & Co, and the coming age of Gabriel Bruneteau’s enterprise. Vignobles Gabriel & Co brought together around 20 partner wine-growers and producers.
The company can offer an extensive range in which wines reveal with precision and authenticity the character of each of the estates and the diversity of their appellations.
